About Ellen MacGregor

Ellen MacGregor is the behind-the-scenes force that keeps every Homes From DeHart client experience running smoothly. Her work starts before a client signs an agreement with the team and continues long after the home is sold. Ellen joined the team in June 2023 and became a licensed Virginia real estate agent in March 2025. She now serves as the team’s listing coordinator and transaction manager, and as executive assistant to Jon DeHart.  Ellen is a longtime Northern Virginia resident. Before real estate, she spent nearly a decade as a project manager and systems analyst at SAIC, supporting quality assurance and process improvement for federal clients, including the FBI, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and the EPA. She coached varsity and middle school swimming at Flint Hill School for seven years, and she has held leadership roles with local school, swim league, and community organizations. She holds an M.S. in Management Information Systems and an M.A. in Political Science from George Washington University, and a B.A. from the University of Illinois.
